If you decide that CQC is what you need, and you are ready to buy, it is very quick and convenient to do so. This page provides you with all of the information you need to make your purchase, so please read it carefully.
Privacy
Note that Charmed Quark Systems never sees any of your credit card information, so we cannot either by design or accident expose that information to any third party. Charmed Quark Systems will receive only your name and address information so that we can add you to our customer database and issue you a license file.
What You are Buying
When we receive the confirmation of your purchase, we will contact you and confirm your purchase. You will then send us the install key from one of the CQC trial mode nag screens, and we can e-mail you a license file. Save the license file to your local drive and then use the Register button, on the registration dialog box that comes up any time you run a CQC GUI program in trial mode, to select that file and upload it. Once you have uploaded the license file, reboot the machine running the CQC Master Server and your system will become licensed for the options you've purchased.
Note that Integration Partners cannot provide their services to customers who have purchased the DIY version of the product, so don't ask them to do so. You may upgrade your system to the integrator's version by paying the difference between the cost of your existing DIY license and the integrator license.
Customers who buy the DIY version and pay a non-Integration Partner to install it, or who have a non-Integration Partner install a DIY version, will void all obligations of Charmed Quark Systems to the customer, including the obligation to license any future versions. So please do not do this. It is a clear abuse of our attempt to provide an inexpensive version to the DIY community.
Maintenance Fees
Your CQC license includes a $95 yearly maintenance fee. This fee covers all new version releases in that year period, so there will be no per-release upgrade charges. Your initial purchase of CQC includes one year of maintenance fees. For each subsequent year, the maintenance fee will be due by the anniversary date of your purchase if you wish to continue your license for the upcoming year. A 5% penalty will be accrued for each month, that the fee payment is delayed. So a maximum of 60% on the $95 owed each year. Therefore at the end of one year it is $152 ($95 + $57). At the end of the second year it is is $304 and so forth.
To make it easier for us to find you in our database, please try to use the e-mail or name that you used when originally ordering. You can also include your install key in the Paypal notes field, which you can get in the Admin Interface (Administer->License->Get Info.)
