Description:

This driver is for the Key Digital KD-SW4x1 component video switcher. This box provides a 4-in by 1 out switcher for component (YPrPb) video and audio (L,R, digital PCM) or up to 4 inputs RGBHV plus digital PCM Audio.

This driver's server side component is CML based. The driver classes for this device are in the MEng.System.CQC.Drivers.KDFlashSW4x1 scope. This file was provided by David Hays, who has provided a number of other drivers as well.

None at this time.

Connection Details

The KD-SW4x1 uses a serial connection. It can use a standard 9 wire cable or a minimalist 3 wire cable, since it really only uses send, received, and ground wires. The connection parameters are 4800, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, and no flow control. The speed is low, but the amount of data is very trivial, so it's not a big issue.
